People send us some of the wildest stuff, and some of it's really, really funny. For those people that we publish through IGotNewsForYou we place them on the "contributor page of shame" below. Enjoy.
Peter Chianca
Peter Chianca is a journalist and humor writer whose column, "At Large," has managed to infiltrate more than a dozen newspapers in Eastern Massachusetts, including the Boston Herald. Chianca has been writing "At Large" since 1998, and during that time has been recognized by the New England Press Association, the Massachusetts Press Association and the National Society of Newspaper Columnists, proving that there's no accounting for taste. Chianca has also written sketches for nationally syndicated radio programs, and was co-host of the Boston-area radio show "Family Talk Radio." His blog, "The At Large Blog" provides an almost-daily dose of his commentary on the great, big, wide, weird world. Chianca lives on the North Shore of Boston with his wife and two children, where his hobbies include snacking and derring-do.
Nancy Breitman-Kopman
Nancy Breitman-Kopman lives in Richmond Hill, Ontario. She is married to Bob, and has 2 sons, Ben and Leo. She has been a kindergarten teacher, music teacher and is currently a stay-at-home mom, working on completing her original children's music CD and trying to act mature. When she was little, she amused her family (and herself) by drawing and writing satirical comics about anything and everything, so writing for IGotNewsForYou is a healthy outlet for her creative neediness. Nancy was IGotNewsForYou's first ever contest winner, for her story, "Widows for Dummies".
Mark Garrison
In this day of socially acceptable comedic writing, Mark Garrison's obscenely unique style shines like Rosie Odonnell's labia on a hot Texas summer day. Mark started his writing career in his hometown of Converse, TX and is doing whatever it takes in order to become a household name (other than mass murder).
He's confident that his daring, perverted style is welcomed with open legs by all who long for old fashioned, ridiculous, "lowbrow" comedy. His range has allowed him to write for sites as demented as CricketSoda.com. One of Mark's neighbors once described him as "One of those amazingly strange people that you can't help but want to smother mayonnaise on".. So in a world of comedic writers, Mark Garrison proves that you can have your cake and smear it on a retarded midget too.
Tommy Taylor
Tommy Taylor is the author of the mostly humor blog, Striving for Average. A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, he received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in 1986. After receiving his diploma Tommy spent slightly more than nine years in the USAF, all but the first year as an F16 pilot (Viper Driver). He separated from the Air Force in 1997 and has been working for a major airline since then. His first exposure to blogging was Ann Althouse, and after an exchange of emails Striving for Average was born in December of 2004. The name of the blog is a derivative of a common Air Force saying, "if the minimum wasn't good enough, it wouldn't be the minimum." Besides his own blog, and I Got News For You, Tommy's look at politics, common sense, and yes even humor can frequently be found at The Carnival of Comedy and The Carnival of Satire. Married to his first wife since 1987, the family (one son, born in 1994) reside in the suburbs of Dallas TX.
Charlie Hatton
Charlie Hatton is an overzealous blogger and aspiring standup comedian offering smart, sophisticated humor about life, language, and the size of his naughty bits. Not necessarily in that order. Charlie lives in the Boston area, and spends most of his daylight
hours stuffed in a cubicle, where he's less likely to bump into anything expensive or upset the neighbors. At thirty-five, he's due for a(nother) midlife crisis any day now. His blog is called Where The Hell Was I?
Lisa Skittone
Skittone is a writer living in Northern Virginia with a spousal
equivalent and a canine equivalent.
That picture isn't Lisa, it's her dog, Duke.
